    Shipping Policy

    1.SHIPPING OPTIONS

    Order characteristics such as size, weight and distance will determine the method for delivering your order.  Orders will ship via courier, parcel services or motor freight and are selected based on optimizing the fastest and least expensive method of delivering your order. Shipping fees are estimated per order and will include any additional fees that are necessary based on your selected criteria (such as for Residential Delivery, Inside Delivery or Lift-Gate Service) All shipping fees are charged at the time the order is placed and are considered final

    Depending on the type of delivery you require additional motor freight fees may also apply. Additional fees include Residential Delivery, Inside Delivery and Lift-Gate Service.

    Please select the type of delivery service and requirements that are appropriate for your location.  In the event the correct delivery type is not selected, Pratt Retail Specialties or the motor freight carrier will bill you directly for any additional shipping, handling or other fees.

    2. MOTOR FREIGHT

    The shipping options described below in this “Motor Freight” section are specific to all orders shipping via motor freight, which includes items that cannot be shipped via overnight courier, as well as pallet quantity, LTL (Less Than Truck Load) and/or FTL (Full Truck Load) orders. The fees associated with motor freight delivery do not apply to orders shipping via courier or parcel services. All freight fees are subject to change without notice.

    Please read the freight options carefully and familiarize yourself with any requirements for motor freight delivery. In the event you do not select the correct motor freight options for your location at the time of purchase, additional shipping, handling or other fees may be billed to you after the delivery of your merchandise, in an amount equal to the amount of such additional fees incurred by Pratt Retail Specialties, LLC.

    RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY

    Residential Delivery is selected by default for motor freight if you specified your ship-to address as a residence, or the applicable courier or freight carrier has determined that your location is residential. Specifying delivery to a residential address is important because it will enable us and our freight carriers to ship your products using the appropriate type of truck/vehicle to best access and navigate a residential neighborhood and avoid unnecessary fees.  An additional fee of up to $50.00 will apply to motor freight Residential Deliveries in addition to other applicable fees.

    LIFT-GATE SERVICE

    Please specify Lift-Gate Service if you need your motor freight shipment unloaded off of the truck for you. This delivery type is strongly recommended for residential motor freight delivery and for commercial businesses without a loading dock or designated locations for deliveries. If Lift-Gate Service is not selected but required for motor freight delivery, your order may be delayed in the event the driver is unable to unload the order.  An additional fee of up to $50.00 will apply to Lift-Gate Service in addition to other applicable fees.

    INSIDE DELIVERY

    Please specify Inside Delivery if you need your motor freight shipment to be unloaded off the truck and brought inside your residence or place of business, or if you need your shipment to be placed in an area protected from the weather. Inside Delivery typically means your shipment will be both unloaded off the truck and brought through the first door and/or out of the weather. An additional fee of up to $50.00 will apply for Inside Deliveries in addition to other applicable fees.

    MANDATORY FREIGHT DELIVERY FOR CERTAIN ITEMS

    Certain products must be shipped via motor freight because they require special handling, or they are too large, heavy or oddly shaped to ship via courier or parcel service.  Please be sure to view product descriptions, shopping cart and shipping information for clarification on shipping times, costs and estimated delivery of items that require special handling or are too heavy or are too large to ship via courier or parcel service.

    3. SHIPPING RATES AND TIMES

    You may view your estimated shipping and freight costs at any time within your online Shopping Cart once you have selected the location of delivery. All quoted shipping and freight costs displayed at the time of checkout are considered actual and final. However, if you do not select the appropriate shipping options for your location at the time of checkout, we reserve the right to automatically bill you for the amount of any additional fees and charges we may incur as a result.

    Most orders placed by 2pm EST will ship same day.

    However, some items require extended delivery lead times and will neither ship the same day the order was placed nor be eligible for expedited shipping. If an item requires extended lead times for delivery, it will be noted for you in the product description and at the time of checkout.

    Please note that, based on the characteristics of the particular items ordered, we sometimes ship products independently to optimize speed of delivery and minimize cost, and therefore your items may not arrive together, even if placed in a single order.

    STANDARD DELIVERY

    Please allow 1-5 business days for shipment of standard delivery orders. All orders placed by 2pm EST will normally ship on the same business day on which the order is placed, provided credit approval (if any) and product availability are confirmed by us by 6:00 p.m. on such day.

    NEXT DAY & EXPEDITED DELIVERY

    Expedited delivery is only available on a limited number of in-stock items, and for an additional fee. Please review individual items selected for purchase to determine if expedited delivery is available. The option of selecting expedited delivery will be provided for items available for expedited delivery at the time of checkout.  Items that are available for expedited shipping and which are ordered by 2pm EST will usually ship in 1-3 business days, barring inclement weather and other unforeseen events.

    4. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

    PrattPlus.com will assist you in tracking the progress of each of your orders by providing a series of email communications confirming your order and again notifying you that your order has shipped.

    ORDER CONFIRMATION

    An email notification will be sent to your email address to confirm your order within 24 hours of the order being placed.  This email will contain the order details, payment details and estimated arrival time for your order If the information you receive in the email is incorrect, please contact our Customer Experience Specialists immediately at 1-855-MY-PRATT (1-855-697-7288) or via email at customercare@prattindustries.com.

    SHIPPING CONFIRMATION

    A mail notification will be sent to your email address once your order has shipped. If applicable, you will also be provided a tracking number for the order. For orders sent via courier, tracking information may be limited or unavailable. This email will contain the shipping information with the estimated date of delivery.     TRACKING INFORMATION

    If you are a registered “My Pratt” customer, you will be able to view your order history, shipment status, and order details by logging into your “My Pratt” account. The link for your personalized “My Pratt” account information is located in the upper right hand corner of each page of the PrattPlus.com website. You may register for a “My Pratt” account online at any time or by contacting our Customer Experience Specialists for assistance at 1-855-MY-PRATT (1-855-697-7288) or via e-mail at customercare@prattindustries.com.  Registration for a “My Pratt” account is free of charge and strongly encouraged to enhance your shopping experience.

    If you are not a registered “My Pratt” customer, you will still receive e-mail notifications regarding your order, but you will not be able to obtain tracking information online. Instead, as an unregistered customer, you can obtain order tracking information from any of our Customer Experience Specialists by calling 1-855-MY-PRATT (1-855-697-7288) or via e-mail at customercare@prattindustries.com.

    5. ORDERS OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS U.S.

    Orders placed via PrattPlus.com are eligible for shipment only within the contiguous United States, and we will not ship any orders to an international address (i.e., one that is not located within the contiguous United States) or to Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Alaska.
